Marc Feingold wishes all real estate agents in markets where online scheduling is provided would take advantage of the feature.

In fact, the New Jersey-based agent practically demands buyer’s agents who wish to see his listings do so.

“On all my listings, I insist that people use it,” Feingold said. “When people call me, I tell them to use the app to schedule.”

Feingold is an agent for RE/MAX SELECT in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, and belongs to several MLSs.

Both Central Jersey MLS and the Monmouth County Association of Realtors subscribe to ShowingTime for the MLS, which enables agents to request and schedule showings through the MLSs’ website and confirm showings via two-way texting or the ShowingTime mobile app — both of which eliminate phone tag, makes the showing process less complicated and save time.

The Enhanced Notifications package both of Feingold’s MLSs subscribe to gives agents the tools to ask customized questions and include company branding and agent photos. All of the feedback options are accessible from a computer, tablet or the ShowingTime mobile app, with requests automatically sent to the showing agent via email and/or push notification.

The app is an especially big selling point for Feingold.

“It’s just so convenient,” Feingold said. “I wish everyone used it.”

Another ShowingTime for the MLS feature that makes Feingold’s life easier is ShowingCart®, which provides an easy way for buyer’s agents to save time by putting together a day of showings and planning the most efficient route to drive from listing to listing.

Your group of listings — or Buyer’s Tour — can be shared with your clients once the tour is finalized. Simply click the share button on the ShowingCart screen on your desktop and your Buyer’s Tour will be emailed to your clients. Any sensitive details will be omitted; only share pertinent listing information is shared.

“I love the fact that I can schedule all my visits in ShowingCart, move them around, modify the times and map them all out,” Feingold said.

ShowingCart can be accessed from the ShowingTime mobile app, but currently, tours have to be scheduled from your desktop. You’ll also see Buyer’s Tour notifications via email that are optimized for mobile.

“It’s an awesome feature and saves time,” Feingold said.
