Nothing says spring like seeing the first crocuses poke their heads out of the soil.

But flowers aren’t the only things starting to bloom; the real estate market is ready to blossom. Listing inventory is growing and buyers are resuming or beginning their hunt for the perfect home.

This is a great opportunity for agents to set up their listings to attract more showings and facilitate confirmation to get that listing sold for the best price.

We’ve put together a few tips for agents on how to prepare for real estate’s busy season and get the most out of their ShowingTime products.

1. Download the ShowingTime Mobile App

It’s highly unlikely you step out of your office without your smartphone. No matter where you go, access ShowingTime at your fingertips with the mobile app.

Request and confirm showings, manage showing feedback, share listing activity reports with sellers and much more. Download the app >

2. Provide Mobile Access for Your Sellers

Did you know in most markets sellers have access to a seller’s version of the mobile app? It’s a great way to keep your sellers in the loop and allows them to keep track of showings, review published feedback, contact their listing agents and view listing activity, all from their smartphone. Learn how >

3. Allow Your Sellers to Confirm Showings

You’re a busy real estate agent. You have listings to manage, emails to respond to, meetings with potential clients to attend … and the list goes on.

Save time and expedite the showing process by allowing your sellers to confirm showings via the mobile app, text or email. You’ll receive a FYI notification once the showing has been confirmed.

4. Set Appointment Rules and Restrictions for Your Listings

As most seller and agent schedules vary from day to day due to work, vacations, or even a simple doctor’s appointment, setting up showing rules and restrictions* can eliminate some potential back and forth between you, sellers and showing agents.

You can create as many appointment rules as you’d like to accommodate the homeowners’ schedule. And the best thing is it can be accomplished from anywhere using the ShowingTime mobile app. More details >

*Depending on your market, you may only have access to showing restrictions.

5. Configure Your Listings to Generate More Showings

After you’ve defined showing rules, you can facilitate more showings and skip the multiple attempts it may take to have them confirmed.

Choosing a “Go and Show” appointment type as a default for your new listings does two things:

First, all incoming appointments are automatically confirmed. That means showing agents can schedule a single showing or add your listings to a showing tour without waiting.

Second, listings that auto-confirm showings get on average more showings during their first week on the market. This might contribute to a higher sale price in a shorter amount of time.

As we’re quickly approaching the busy season, now is the best time to make sure your listings are set up to generate showings, provide up-to-date scheduling details and facilitate appointment confirmations.

Doing so will give your listings a chance to stand out in the sellers’ market.
