On September 22 and September 23, more than 200 MLS and association leaders joined us to learn about the latest ShowingTime products and features at the 2020 ShowingTime Executive Forum. Like previous Executive Forums, the event gave ShowingTime users the opportunity to interact with ShowingTime leadership and developers to share feedback and get unique insight into the roadmap for current products and new offerings. Unlike previous Executive Forums, however, this year’s convening was held entirely online!

While we’d have preferred to meet face-to-face, in-person in Chicago as originally planned, the tremendous amount of positive feedback we’ve received from attendees tells us that the online version accomplished what has made the Executive Forum a valuable event. For the benefit of those who were unable to attend, we’ve highlighted below a few of the key topics discussed during this year’s Executive Forum.

An Assessment of Market Trends

Showing traffic has seen a remarkable rebound throughout the pandemic as buyer demand has exceeded 2019 levels.

His thoughts? The industry has shown remarkable resilience, even in the face of second waves of COVID-19 cases, as agents increasingly turn to new ways to keep showings going in light of local restrictions.  Many markets remain incredibly competitive, Cherkasskiy noted, with demand continuing to outstrip supply in many regions. Inventory is also down 25 percent50 percent in many of the largest urban and suburban communities across the U.S. and Canada.

ShowingTime LIVE Video

One of the reasons for the jump in showing activity this summer has been agents’ increasing openness to adopting new ways for continuing to manage showings, even when in-person showings are out of the equation.

ShowingTime LIVE Video is one option agents have turned to, and Executive Forum participants who were not yet familiar with the live, one-on-one video showing tool received a crash course in how it works. They also learned what kind of feedback we’ve received from ShowingTime LIVE Video users, which has been overwhelmingly positive. One agent in Minnesota has used ShowingTime LIVE Video for 1,189 minutes to keep her business moving.

Pricing Benchmark Report

Agents are always looking for unique insight they can use to help their clients understand pricing strategies for their listing. For them, we offer the exciting new add-on for users of ShowingTime for the MLS, ShowingTime Appointment Center and ShowingTime Front Desk: the Pricing Benchmark Report.

The Pricing Benchmark Report’s visual reports makes it easy to share competitive pricing analyses with clients.

The Pricing Benchmark Report was made available in a few select markets at the beginning of the year. Since its initial rollout, it’s now available for purchase in markets throughout the country. Attendees at the Executive Forum were given an overview of the different detailed views the Pricing Benchmark Report add-on can produce, but we’ve made a sample report available for everyone which you can view by clicking here.
