Feedback from showings is a great tool in the agent arsenal. From seemingly trivial aspects – a kitchen needing a new fridge, better carpet in the basement, or a certain room needing paint – to major factors like the price being too high, feedback provides validation directly from the market.

Too often feedback requests go unanswered; boxes to enter comments are left empty, and if a comment is made, it might be as vague as, “good showing,” “nice house,” or “buyer still looking” – which probably isn’t very productive feedback to help you move forward with a sale. It doesn’t have to be this way.

If you ask for general feedback, the feedback you’re likely to get will be … general. If you ask for specific feedback, we’ve learned from agents you’ll be much more likely to get the information you need.

One of the added features of ShowingTime’s appointment center is the customizable feedback option, which allows you to ask showing agents for exactly the feedback you need. Your sellers trust you, or they wouldn’t have hired you to sell their house. However, when it comes to certain items, they may push back. It’s easier to push back against their agent – you – than to push back against a potential buyer.
